Went here for lunch..
- gorgeous dining room... make you feel like you are going back in time... not sure where but i love it
- wonderful salad bar - WOW!!! Lots to choose from including bacon, olives, jalapenos, along with normal salad stuff.. much much more!
- We both got Adirondack French Dip which was very good; We both did not like the french fries (needs flavor) and didn't really eat them
- We were both stuffed coming out of there...
- Service was good but the waiter did not tell me it was PEPSI products when I ordered a diet coke; Sorry Pepsi is gross and its not the same. I fortunately caught the error quickly and just ordered water
- VALUE: A little bit pricey for lunch but like I said that salad bar was awesome!!! (and you won't need a big dinner for sure). -

Pooh and I were ready for lunch and remembered this place from Friday's shoe shopping expedition.
The interior reminds me of the RIP Ponderosa restaurant: western style.
There is a well-stocked salad bar and free refills on pop.
My steak was cooked to perfection and Pooh's fillet mignon tips were tender and melted in his mouth.
Since we both lost weight, we each had a doggy bag for supper. -

Ehhh.
The salad bar and the bread get a 10.
I got the filet Mignon tips and they were not so good. They did say in a Marsala sauce over pasta. But the Marsala sauce was the thickest I've ever seen or tasted in my life. I ate all the steak out of it and didn't bother with the pasta. I was thinking steak tips. Not at all.
My husband didn't eat his burger. Ate the bun and the chips.
Burger on dish. All of my and my kids pasta left on plate.
"Would you like a to go box?"
No thanks;)
But, the fresh bread that you cut yourself and the salad bar made it not the worst deal.
I should have read yelp reviews first to know what to get. Also, decor very very cute. Server was good too! -

I've been coming here for years! First of all the restaurant is in Lake George just past the outlets. If you can make a reservation the process is much better. Also this place is an old log cabin that they have converted and in the winter they have multiple fireplaces going! Now the food!
They have a very interesting salad bar with fresh baked bread that you cut yourself (get the cinnamon raisin one) and tons of fresh choices! The then also have cold pasta, potato, tuna and apple salads. Everything also comes in super large portions and the salad bar is unlimited! They have two in the restaurant! If you leave here hungry you have an issue! I had the prime rib with a baked potato, and I had the smallest cut (branch cut) and the thing was the size of the plate! Super juicy and really was a great steak.
Overall if your in the area from track season this place is a must! -

Delicious. Be sure to make a reservation. They are very busy during peak days/times. They have delicious salad and bread bar to go with entrees. Also, they have a great kids menu. Will go again.
